Academic workers have escalated their tactics at most campuses as the third week of the strike closes and the fourth week approaches. At UC Berkeley workers took California Hall. The struggle for dignified wages and adequate support from the UC system continues…
Since we can’t be everywhere and we do know folks would like prints. I ran a very small edition of the posters we have been distributing on the Berkeley campus.
The prints themselves are free to BIPOC (Black, Indigenous and people of color) academic workers that are on strike (California addresses only) but shipping cost and shipping material must be paid. ****Message me with your campus/what you do there for a special discount code which will waive the cost of the print.
***One print per tube. One tube per worker. No exceptions.
There are 4 prints available for non- academic workers who might like to have one. The fee associated with these prints will go to cover the cost of shipping for academic workers. If we are able to sell these “solidarity prints” academic workers will not have to pay for shipping as all $ collected from sales will offset the shipping materials/fees. If the prints are sold late in the process I will print some more posters to give away to workers via snail mail.
