Normally, organizing workers involves long meetings that are off-site.
Both of these circumstances discourage attendance. But what about 10 minute meetings in the parking lot before or after work? Some may say “what can you do in 10 minutes?”. Â That depends on how organized you are, according to leaders who have done this. The heart of the meetings is to briefly report on negotiations, remind workers of up-and-coming actions, practice picketing and assign homework. Their frequency makes it much more likely that workers stay involved.
